Snoh Aalegra

Introducing a conceptual design project that explores the world of Snoh Aalegra - the new global face of contemporary R&B. With the release of her highly anticipated third album, "Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies," Snoh has captured the hearts of music lovers around the world with her unique blend of soulful melodies and cross-cultural appeal.

Building on the success of the album, this project aims to create a set of merch designs that will serve as an evergreen mode of promotional content for the artist.

the PLAN

Snoh’s team has created a melancholic, but yet playful atmosphere around this project. in order to stay within this world but bring our own take on this line we will keep certain design elements in-tact. (like color scheme & bubbly type).

Color Palette

The objective is to enhance the current creative direction by utilizing the artist's tracklist to craft an aesthetic and interactive shopping experience. Rather than relying on the traditional depiction of visited cities and tour dates, I propose using the vinyl layout of Snoh's "Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies" tracklist to develop two distinct designs.

One design will feature the "Temporary Highs" tagline and be paired with "side a" of the vinyl, while the other will showcase "Violet Skies" and "side b".

For the front, I suggest a minimalist design with only "Snoh" appearing in the top right corner. Fans can then opt to purchase clothing pieces that highlight their favorite tracks from the album.
